Long time no post, but things have been hectic lately. What was meant to be 4 week trip in Hong Kong and 6 days in Tokyo to visit some friends, i will now be staying for another month.
After hiking back down the mountain, we treated ourselves for some fish and chips and panini at this pleasant restaurant, Classified. The service, food and atmosphere were all pleasant.
I am excited to be staying a while longer in Hong Kong, to explore the city which I call my second home but always felt a stranger in it, and also spending more time with family.
I have been blessed to be given a opportunity working for a graphic production house as an intern during my stay.. meaning there will be lack of post again.
It is an exciting opportunity but also a scary one to as never been an intern for a graphic company before. But I will give it my all and gain experience.
Any way... enough of babbling heres what I have been up to....
Few weeks ago my brother took me into Sai Kung for a little exploration trip. it was definitely a memorable one!
We took the mini bus from Mong Kok to Sai Kung which took about 30mins, and than another 10 mins up to the mountains. By then it was about 11am and the next minibus to get back down to Sai Kung would be at 4pm... if you miss that one, the next one would be 9pm.
So make sure you take a picture of the bus timetable before you head up the mountains.
One we got of the bus we had to take an hours walk (depending how fast you walk) to get to out destination... Seems a lot of walking but certainly worth it.
