It almost here!!! Few more hours and we will be entering a whole new year. A fresh start, for endless possibilities. So to end my countdown, I would like to dedicate this post on love.
Love comes in all shape and sizes. Sometimes unexpectedly but still such an amazing feeling when you have it. Whether its love from your family and friends or love from your bf/gf or even food (I do get a lot of love out of eating food, is that weird to say?). Anyway my point is everybody deserves love and I think we can all use and give a little more loving around.
Some of you might have seen this face appear in some of my post now and then. (insert picture below).

St Pancras, our meeting place | At Saatchi Gallery one of my faves |
He has taught me to relax, this is a hard one for those who knows me, and to enjoy the time we have together and that it's okay to be a little selfish to take time for myself. It has been hard at times as we had to spend three months apart in the summer. But he is my constant source for laughter, care and love. We have grown together and only hope we continue to grow and I'm excited to continue this journey with him.
The second type of Love I want to dedicate to my family The Chan's!
Each year we continue to grow stronger as a family but also our love for each other grows more each day, if thats even possible! We have so many happy memories together especially this year where Mr. is now apart of our family.
Tim (my brother) is still in HK but was lovely to see him come home in October and to have the complete family in the same room again. It was sad not to have him here at Christmas but hopefully he will be here next Christmas.
And of course I can't finish off this post without featuring my fur ball of love, my cat Yummy Bear.
She is silly, funny, diva of a cat and all too cute for her own good. Thats why I love her.
I want to say thank you to all those who are in my life, and continue to be. I always believe everything happens for a reason and whatever is meant to be will find its way in, we just have to have a sprinkle of hope and a whole lot more faith.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year and that all of you are blessed with health, success and love!

As always,

Looking back this year I have to thank God for all his blessings upon me and for given experiences that I am so thankful for. This year I have learnt a lot about myself and who I am shaping out to be.
Earlier this year I entered a competition held by Do the Green Thing by Pentagram and WWF Earth hour and I was shortlisted. I then got to experience a day at London Pentagram's office and got invited to a private party for Earth Hour 2014 and saw the London Eye switch off for the hour.
The whole experience was quite overwhelming as I have never been confident in my graphic work.
I tend to put a brave face on and to appear that everything is well (with my design work) but deep down I was lost. In the process of going through uni I was at a time where I didn't know where I fitted in within the design world, and always had this feeling of not being good enough as my peers were all excelling in their work. It was an inspiration to see all their work blossom but still I was at a place where I was unhappy with my own direction as I felt I can just never get it right no matter how much effort I put in.
However, entering the WWF competition had given the confident boost that I needed at the time but it also made me rethink the type of career I wanted or didn't want.
It was an incredible experience to work with designers and meet fellow graphic designers and illustrators who entered the competition as well, and be able to talk to people in a real brief situation. My work appeared on WWF Earth Hour websites and was promoted as the public voted for the winner.
Even though I did not win, the whole experience itself was more than I could ever ask for.
The project allowed me to design something I was passionate about and the work I made had a voice.
Some of you might remember a post from late last year about my planning for my Dad's 60th Birthday Party. At that point I had never considered party planner as a possible career path or realised party planner was an actual job. But after the whole bash with so many compliments and really enjoying the whole process of making Dad's Birthday party come together, I was craving to explore the industry further. I had a strong sense of my style and what I like, and gravitated to Bespoke Party Planning and found two possible internship in the summer.
I applied for both but was only really interested in the one I found in HK. I got the internship in Hong kong and it was also a great excuse to go back and see all my family as well.
After the whole experience, I fell in love with the industry and loved every minute of it. I knew this was right for me and it's what I wanted to do.
The part I love the most was being able to create a special day for someone and try to make it an unforgettable day for them to remember for a long time to come.
Coming back from Hong Kong, I've been emerging myself into a project that I can't say too much of now but I'm really excited for when I can share with you all.
I have also been focusing more on the things I love doing along side Uni work which is this Blog.
The blog has given me creative freedom and have been able to share my crafty side with you all which I have loved doing and definitely want to do more of in 2015!
The kind words on instagram, comments on the blog and also private messages has been so encouraging for me to work hard and keep on creating what I love. So I want to say a BIG THANK YOU! To all my readers.
To sum it all up. Through out this year it made me realise and confirm where I want to be after University. It is an exciting time and I know 2015 will be a VERY busy year for me but I am sure it will also me an enjoyable one. Work hard and PARTY even harder! :)

One of my lovely readers emailed this photo to me of her cousin making one of my D.I.Y Christmas Cards.
I can not predict what will happen in the new year but I just hope I will be continuing to do what I love.
For those who knows me would know I love to travel and go exploring and discover something new, and this year I have been blessed enough to be able to go on a few getaways.
I got to go on a short break to Lisbon with a few of my friends however I fell ill during the last two days I was there. Even though I missed out on one of the days it was still a blessed trip as we were in time to see their Easter Light show, that we accidentally stumbled upon on, which was a treat and tried authentic Portuguese tart which before I only had in HK, or Macau.
Through the trip to Hong Kong in the summer I got to explore and go back to one of my favourite Island Cheung Chau but also discover new nature, Tai O to the infinity pool. I also caught a short break with my two twin Aunties to Singapore which I have been before but a while back. It was nice to spend more quality time with my Aunts as I have never been on holiday with them before.
The most exciting part was I was reunited with my Brother back in HK! We also have fun and joke around when I see him, it's certainly never a dull moment.
I was also reunited with my cousins and had such a great time. Charmaine (one of my cousins) and I love to explore new and quirky cafes around Hong Kong and it has been such a fun and delicious time! We ate a lot and also laughed even more.
I consider Hong Kong to be my home away from home as most of my family resides in the City. I truly am in love with this city for all its new and old culture to explore and discover.
Even though its been non-stop since I came back from HK, I was fortunate enough to go to my first ever concert at the O2 to see Ed Sheeran with a few friends, I was certainly a fun night and a great experience as I've never been to a concert before.
I just feel very blessed to have experienced the places that I have and thankful for all the opportunities I have had this year. I hope next year I will be able to travel more around Europe since I am fortunate to live so close to so many different cultures and amazing cities. I would love to go to Amsterdam, Prague, Santorini, just to name a few places. I would also love to explore more of the U.K and around and catch more short spontaneous trip which I believe are sometimes the best trips.
Here are some of my travels this year in photos. If you are interested to know more about the places below they are all under my travel dairies on the left button of the blog :)

Heres to more travel adventures in 2015!
Since it's only a few days till the new year, I decided I want to end my last few posts on some reflection of my own 2014, I hope thats okay.
So the next three days starting tomorrow I want to share some highlights for me in 2014 with you all. and count down to the new year.
Starting this blog has always been a platform to release my creative side, but I think its nice to show you glimpse of the person behind from yours truly and be more open with you all.
It has been a roller coster of a year for me with so many highs but also lows as well. Life will not always be as dandy as we would have liked but I'm here to say thats okay, and its part of our learning process in order to achieve greater things.

So until tomorrow, I wish you all are having a fab Sunday whatever you're doing, wherever you are! :)
Christmas Day has come and gone all too quickly. It was quiet Christmas day this year as we (3/4 of the family) and Mr came round to celebrate Christmas Eve, so this year was just myself, Mum and Daddy with our cat of course called yummy on Christmas day. Although It was a lovely Christmas eve evening it didn't feel complete without my brother Tim at home as he now lives in HK. But we did have a friendly visitor (a butterfly) to join our night.
I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and may it be a time for peace and joy as we reflect the pass year and enter a new :)
Just want to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and enjoy your day with all your loved ones!
Hope you all have an amazing day! Eat lots and be merry!
