Today I wanted to share something thats been on my mind and in my heart... I have recently wrote up post about how I am feeling towards this years Christmas and today I am finally posting it. I have been trying to get into the festive mood and I get some then loose it. This is also the reason why this year you might have noticed there is a lack of Christmas DIY post compared to last years. I hope you enjoy reading what I’m about to say as I wanted to share my thoughts with you. I still love Christmas and I am very much so looking forward to celebrating it with my family but this year, it just feels a little different to me and made me even more thankful for everything I have. You’ll see what I mean...

With recent world events, it is hard to imagine how hard of a Christmas this year will be for those who have lost a friend, son, daughter, wife, husband, mother, father, grandfather or grandmother.
This made me reflect how blessed I am to have a roof over my head, to have food in the house and to have my family beside me. Therefore, I want to share with you three ways to share some extra love this Christmas that doesn’t actually cost a lot, if at all.

With our increasingly busy lives trying to balance work, friendships and family life how often do we ever show our appreciation to the ones who means the most to us.
Writing a handwritten letter is a simple way to show your appreciation to the ones you love. Why not for this holiday, add a personal touch you your gift giving by writing down the things that you love about the person you’re giving the gift to and how much they mean to you.

Do you know a friend or neighbour who might be alone this Christmas? Why not set an extra seat at the table this year and invite them over and share your festive lunch with them. Some of us might be living far away from home this year or have recently lost a loved one, leaving them alone this Christmas. So why not spread your love by sharing a meal together!

Prayer cost absolutely nothing but it is so powerful. When you say your prayers please keep in your hearts those who have lost so much this year. Pray for the world we live in, pray for the people in our world. Prayer for peace and pray for love.

  1. These are lovely gestures Tiffany, it's easy to get wrapped up in the all festivities, over eating and consuming too much and forgot about the little things that can make a big difference to other people during this time of year :)
