I always get excited to try out local favourite spots whenever I travel, to discover and experience the place through food! I mean who doesn’t love food? So, today I’m sharing with you three great eats I’ve discovered whilst in Plymouth.

Cap’n Jasper
For all things great and mighty, Cap’n Jasper is the place to go for a good hearty burger. It’s cheap and simply delicious, this little cafe shack is perfect to stop and refuel. There are no formal seating, only outdoor benches, so wrap up warm if you’re going on a chilly day. Oh and if you’re up for a challenge, see if you can finish the half a yard hot dog by yourself.

There are many seafood restaurants in the Barbican area but can be a bit pricy especially if you’re looking for a good weekend break without emptying your wallet. Rockfish is great for that and can I just stop for a moment and tell you they have unlimited chips! Yes, all the chips you want!

Rhodes at The Dome
Whilst looking up what to eat in Plymouth I stumbled upon The Dome and saw their special winter menu and could not resist. 3 course dinner for £14 instead of £28 so of course we had to go. Not only is the food delicious you get to enjoy it over a stunning view of the sea front. This is a great restaurant to go for a romantic dinner and it was the perfect ending to Mr & I weekend trip

Hope you all have a great weekend and see you in the next post!
