The Conservatory

One of my favourite things to do in my down time is to discover and visit new places. I’m an adventurous person at heart and love exploring, so being indoors in my studio for most of my week can make me feel a little gloom. That’s why The Conservatory at the Barbican was my perfect little escape over the weekend and I’m taking you with me.

If you’ve never visited the Barbican before I would highly recommend going as they have a good range of exhibitions and events happening each month so I’m sure there will be something that will catch your fancy at some point. The conservatory is hidden away on the 3rd floor of the Barbican and it’s the second biggest conservatory in London. Once you’re in, you will feel you’re no longer in hustle and bustle of London but surrounded by beautiful tropical plants and trees.

The Conservatory is free to visit but do make sure you check their website for opening times. Also they now have afternoon teas on Sundays too! I didn’t get a chance to have their afternoon tea but if you’re going I would love to hear how it went.
