April showers bring May flowers

I just fell in love with that saying as I heard it for the first time recently. It's such a beautiful saying and it inspired me for todays DIY.  Flower hangings has been a big trend lately for this spring/ summer parties however using fresh flowers can be expensive. Artificial flowers can also be expensive too and hard to find (for me anyway) especially here in the U.K. 

With that said, I made this flower hanging using party streamers that I had leftover from a previous party and made paper flowers out of them. Being creative and re-cyling materials to make something beautiful is defiantly a plus! I thought this DIY flower hanging will be great for those summer soirees, or just for home decor as it will last forever.
