Brunch at The Happenstance

Wednesday, April 06, 2016

One thing I live for is brunch! I just love the lazy weekends where you have a good lie-in with no alarm to wake up to. Where you start the day feeling relaxed and refreshed not having anywhere in particular to be and you just enjoy being in the moment and let life be. I love it all!

Last weekend I got to enjoy a lovely brunch with my love to celebrate his Birthday! The Happenstance, just right next to St Paul’s Cathedral, is one of the prettiest restaurants I’ve been to for brunch, and I have had my fare shares of brunches for me to say that. I ordered the english breakfast whilst Mr ordered the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs both cooked to perfection just how we liked it. Though
you can’t really go wrong with breakfast in my opinion.  The staff were super friendly and helpful even when I sneakily asked if they could surprise Mr with a Birthday brownie which they did and even sang Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday My love.

  4. Ooh love the rustic look of it ;-) these days, I just make brunch at home because I can eat as much as I like without feeling the pinch ($$$). Plus I managed to get my waffle maker over from home so I want to try whippin' some out soon. That said, this is so sweet - always a great treat going out celebrating birthdays :)
