‘I haven’t failed, because you only fail when you stop trying, and I will never stop.’
As a party & craft blogger, I always try to promote positivity. To encourage you, my readers, to live more creatively, to celebrate life and bring you a little joy through my posts as this is my love and passion. However I am human, and sometimes there are things in our lives that happens to us that makes us worn-out and tired. I am writing this to you because I want to be real and for you to get to know me as a person not just a blog.
I am a
I guess what I am trying to say is, I have been mentally exhausted for a while now with trying to build a new business, whilst juggling freelance work, part-time work, blogging, family life and my relationship and friendships. As you can imagine things start to get overwhelming.
I have so many ideas for DIY blog posts and videos all contained in my creative notebook and I’ve even shot some of them ready for editing. Believe me, I have been itching to finish them off, ready to post and share on the blog but the truth of the matter is I just haven’t had the time. Unfortunately blogging simply doesn’t pay the bills (for me anyway). I much rather post less frequently but have well executed content than to throw anything on the blog just because I need content. I hope you understand, I mean if I’m gonna to do something I want to do it well.
So that’s the story of my lack of post the past two weeks. But hey, It’s all going to be okay! I just need a little time for myself, to take a break in some areas of my work and to concentrate on one thing instead. To stop putting so much pressure on myself in feeling like I have to do everything otherwise I have failed. I haven’t failed, because you only fail when you stop trying, and I will never stop. It’s just time for a little blogging vacay.
I also want to say a little thank you. Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog, and thank you for those who have commented in my posts - it means the world to me. This blog is my hobby and I absolutely love that I can share my ideas and to spread a little joy on here, so thank you for all your support. I will still be posting on Instagram, as I am an addict, so if you want you can follow me there :).
This is not a goodbye, just a see you later!
